Cyber Pong
Cyber Pong is a two-player Pong variant by georgegognadze that uses arithmetic as its control scheme. While the ball is in play, the game poses a times-table question; answering correctly keeps your paddle moving, and failing hands momentum to your opponent.
Choose one or two players and a ball speed of 5, 10 or 15. In one-player mode the computer opponent is the challenge; in two-player mode one player uses W and S while the other uses the arrow keys. It is an unusual blend of reflex arcade game and mental arithmetic drill.
How to Play
- Pick a player count and a ball speed, then start the game.
- Answer the maths question before the timer expires to keep your paddle responsive.
- Last paddle to miss loses the point.
- Watch the score and the question strip at the top of the window.
Controls
- Enter - start
- Space - start / restart
- W / S - player 1 paddle
- Up / Down - player 2 paddle
- M - menu
Tips
The maths question is the real opponent. If you are comfortable with 12x tables, this is a very fast game; if not, the questions will cost you more rallies than your opponent will.
