📚 Complete Game Guide
Monster Wants Candy
Monster Wants Candy is a vertical arcade platformer by Enclave Games. You control a monster on a narrow ledge with a candy pile just out of reach, and the only way up is to stack the candy you collect and use it as a staircase.
The tension is simple and effective: candy is both your currency and your only route to the next platform, so every candy you spend on climbing is candy you no longer have for score. Dangers are spikes and pits, and the camera scrolls upward, so a mistake means falling all the way back down. Runs entirely on Phaser 2 with a bundled sound set.
How to Play
- Collect candy to build your stack.
- Climb the stack to reach the next platform.
- Avoid spikes and never fall off the bottom.
- Climb as high as you can.
Controls
- Arrow keys - move
- Up - jump
- Space - jump (alternate)
Tips
Candy spent on climbing is candy not scored. Climbing to a comfortable margin and then hoarding reads as a worse run than climbing precisely - leave yourself just enough to reach the next ledge.
